Guide
Open each link in a spreadsheet, change something, save — and collect results
A column of record URLs (orders, tickets, listings) and the same edit to make on each. Or a value to read from each page into your sheet.
What you need: Chrome, the free Fillhand extension and your sheet with a URL column. No account, no code. Your data never leaves your computer.
Step by step
- Record the change on one record page.
- Edit the first step (Go to page) and set the URL to
{{row.URL}}. - Add Read value steps for anything you want back (status, total, new ID). They appear as columns in the results.
- Import the sheet on Data, attach it to the macro, and run.
- Export results as CSV — your original columns, plus the values read, plus ✓/✗ per row.
Tips that save a rerun
- Log in to the site once before the run; Fillhand uses your existing session.
- For thousands of links, run in batches with Start at row so you can check progress.
Add to Chrome — free
Free: unlimited runs and recording. Running once per spreadsheet row is part of Pro ($8.99/month or $69/year).
