Privacy Policy
This policy covers seven iOS games published by an independent developer: Siege of Paws, Glintail, Railroof, Inkfight, Copyhop, Trackgrove, and Squadhold. It explains what data each app touches, and what it doesn't.
1Summary
None of these apps require an account, a sign-in, or your name, email, or location to play. There are no servers storing your progress — saves live only on your device. The only outside data flow is standard, well-known services built into iOS: Google AdMob for optional rewarded video ads (and, in Railroof, Copyhop, Trackgrove and Squadhold, a short full-screen ad between some rounds or puzzles), and Apple's App Store for in-app purchases. Neither the developer nor these apps ever see your payment details.
| Data type | Collected by the app itself? | Collected by a third party? |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone, address | No | No |
| Precise location | No | No |
| Approximate location (estimated from IP address) | No | Yes — by Google AdMob, to select and measure ads |
| Photos, camera, microphone, contacts | No (Inkfight can add a replay video you choose to save to Photos; it cannot see your library) | No |
| Gameplay save data (scores, unlocks, settings) | Yes — stored locally on your device only | No |
| Device identifiers (the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking) | No | Yes — by Google AdMob |
| Ad interactions, app interactions, performance and crash diagnostics | No | Yes — by Google AdMob, for advertising, ad measurement and analytics |
| Purchase & payment information | No | Yes — handled entirely by Apple |
2Data stored on your device
Each app saves your progress — best scores, unlocked characters or skins, settings like music and haptics — in a local save file on your iPhone. This data:
- never leaves your device or reaches the developer;
- is not linked to your identity in any way;
- is permanently deleted the moment you uninstall the app.
3Advertising (Google AdMob)
Some apps offer an optional "watch an ad" button that rewards you with in-game currency or a bonus. These ads are served by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK starts when the app opens and loads an ad in the background so it is ready if you tap the button. While doing so, Google may collect: a device identifier (the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking), an approximate location estimated from your IP address, which ads you saw and interacted with, how you interact with the app, and app performance and crash diagnostics. Google uses this to serve, measure and improve ads and to prevent fraud, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services. Google keeps this data according to its own retention periods. Watching an ad is never required to play, and ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience (maximum rating "PG").
Railroof also shows a full-screen ad between rounds, at most once every few rounds and never in your first games. The one-time Remove Ads purchase turns these off for good; the optional rewarded ads stay available.
Copyhop works the same way: a full-screen ad may appear between runs, never in your first session, never right after a new best score, and at most 25 ads a day in total (rewarded included). The one-time Pro purchase turns these off for good.
Trackgrove works the same way: a full-screen ad may appear only between puzzles, never before you have solved 15 puzzles, never in your first session, never after a Daily puzzle, at most once every three puzzles and three minutes, and at most 20 ads a day in total (hint videos included). Trackgrove limits its ads to content rated for all ages (rating "G"). The one-time Remove Ads or Trackgrove Pro purchase turns the full-screen ads off for good; the optional hint videos stay available.
Squadhold offers optional videos to revive your squad, double a stage's coins or open a daily chest, at most 30 a day in total. From chapter 2 on, a full-screen ad may appear after every third stage you clear, never after a defeat and never within 90 seconds of another ad. Squadhold limits its ads to content rated "PG" (parental guidance) or milder. The one-time Remove Ads purchase turns the full-screen ads off for good and gives the video rewards without a video.
Third parties that receive data from these apps (Google for ads, Apple for purchases) are required to protect it at a level equal to or greater than described in this policy and as required by the App Store Review Guidelines. No data is sold, and no data is shared with any other party.
You can limit this at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or by declining the tracking prompt described below. Ads still play if you decline — they're just less personalized.
4Purchases (Apple App Store)
Where an app offers in-app purchases (for example, packs of in-game currency), the entire transaction — your payment method, billing details, and receipt — is handled by Apple's App Store. The developer only receives confirmation that a purchase was made, never your card or account details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles this.
4bGame Center and reminders (Glintail)
Glintail can submit your scores to Apple Game Center leaderboards if you are signed in to Game Center. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; the developer does not receive your Game Center identity. If you turn on the optional Daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data is sent to any server, and you can turn it off in the app's Settings or in iPhone Settings at any time.
4cReplay videos and drawings (Inkfight)
Inkfight lets you save a short replay of a round as a video. When you tap Save video for the first time, iOS asks for add-only access to Photos: the app can put the new video into your library, but it cannot see, read or upload any of your photos or videos. The video is made on your device and is never sent anywhere. Your weapon drawings, chosen fighter and ink color are kept only in the app's local save on your device. Inkfight's optional ads ("+50% ink for the next round") and one-time purchases (Big Pen, Weapon Pack, Ink Colors, Fighter Pack) follow sections 3 and 4 above.
5App Tracking Transparency
On first launch (or before your first ad), iOS may show Apple's standard tracking permission prompt. Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" fully disables cross-app tracking — the app and its ad partner will not use your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads to you, and every feature, including rewarded ads, keeps working normally.
6Children's privacy
These apps are general-audience games and are not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of these apps, contact us using the details below and it will be removed.
7Your choices & rights
Because no account or server-side profile exists, there is no personal data on file to request, export, or delete beyond what's already under your control:
- Delete everything instantly: uninstall the app — the local save is removed with it.
- Opt out of ad personalization: decline the tracking prompt, or turn off tracking in iPhone Settings at any time.
- Manage or refund a purchase: through your Apple ID account, under Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions/Purchase History.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from the Privacy Choices link on the Shop screen (in Inkfight: the More button on the main menu; in Copyhop, Trackgrove and Squadhold: Settings). To report an inappropriate ad, use the Report an Ad link on the same screen or email the address below.
If you're in the EU/UK, CCPA-covered in California, or anywhere else with data-protection rights, the same applies: the developer holds no personal data store to act on, and the AdMob/Apple identifiers above are the only third-party processing involved, governed by their respective policies linked above.
8Changes to this policy
If what these apps collect changes — for example, adding a new service — this page will be updated and the "Effective" date at the top will change accordingly. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's "What's New" release notes.
